About Ahmed

Ahmed Hammad is a lecturer in Human Resource Management at 50¶È»Ò Business School, University of 50¶È»Ò since 2023. Before that, he worked as an associate lecturer at 50¶È»Ò Business School since 2020. Ahmed Holds a PhD in tourism and hospitality combining HRM with tourism. His Doctoral project highlighted the role of Transformational Leadership in impacting impacting Employee Innovative Behavior through Mediating Innovative Self-Efficacy and Moderating Perceived Organizational Support among Frontline Employees in Egypt. Ahmed also holds a Master's degree in HRM. Ahmed currently teaches undergraduate students in various levels, supervises several master students (home and international) and also supervises PhD students.

Ahmed has published papers in reputable journals including tourism management and journal of travel research. His research interests include leadership styles, particularly transformational leadership, innovative behavior, self-efficacy, organizational support, employee voice, leader integrity, travel agents, tourism, structural equation modelling, and mixed methods.Ìý

Ahmed is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) Since 2024, showing his professional accreditation and excellence in teaching and learning in the UK. Ahmed is also a Certified Management & Business Educator (CMBE) within the Charted Association of Business Schools (CABS) Since 2024, reflecting his committment to effective teaching, continuous learning, and preparing students for success in the global business environment. Moreover, Ahmed is an Academic Associate CIPD (Charted Institute of Personnel and Development) Since 2024, confirming that Ahmed, as an acedemic professional in the field of HRM, is recognized by the CIPD, the foremost professional body for HR and people development in the UK and internationally. Furthermore, Ahmed is an ethical reviewer in the ethical review committe within 50¶È»Ò Businees school, indicating that Ahmed is a gatekeeper for research integrity as he is responsible for reviewing and approving research proposals to ensure they are conducted ethically, protecting the rights, safety, and well-being of all participants and ensuring the credibility of the school's research output. Finally, Ahmed is a member in the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committe (EDI), reflecting his involvement in the active, strategic work of making his institution a more fair, welcoming, and representativeÌýplace for everyone. He is not just a passive supporter of EDI principles, but anÌýactive agent in implementing them. Ahmed is extremely passionate about teaching students and helping them be the best version of themselves, teaching them the basics of HRM and leadership and preparing them for the future markert.Ìý

UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL

Ahmed teaches undergraduate students several leadership topics including Strategy and Leadership, Leadership Practice, and Organizational Leadership. Ahmed also teaches topics including Business and Management, Event Innovation, Real-World Challenges, and Destination Planning and Management. Moreover, Ahmed teaches several HRM topics including HRM in a global context and managing people, productivity, and operations. Finally, he teaches home and international students the honurs project module, educating students the basics of writing a dissertation project and mastering quantitative and qualitative research methods.Ìý Ìý ÌýÌý

Ahmed teaches master students topics including ethical resourcing. Mainly, Ahmed teaches them the capstone project module, where he teaches master students the basics of writing a master dissertation project and how to master quantitative and qualitative research methods. As for PhD, Ahmed currently supervises PhD students whose projects cover topics including HRM within tourism and hospitality.Ìý Ìý
