Meeting society’s growing demand for reliable, abundant energy — without wrecking the natural environment — is one of the great challenges of the 21st century. In this talk, Dr Tim Gregory weaves together scientific optimism and myth-busting data to show why embracing nuclear power is essential for building a high-energy, green future for all.
Following Tim’s talk, there will be a 45-min panel discussion that will explore what ‘Going Nuclear’ might mean for the South West, featuring contributions from panelists from the university, energy and defence sectors.
